About Us... TR Landscape Contracting was founded in 2004 by Tom Richardson, who has over 25 years experience in the Landscape Industry. His experience includes managing the scheme that involved planting the tree that was, at the time, entered into the Guinness Book of Records as the worlds largest transplanted tree, at a height of 17.9 metres. Other accolades include working on the construction of Gold and Silver Award winning gardens at the RHS Tatton Park Show.

With a wealth of experience of Commercial Landscaping and Grounds Maintenance contracts carried out in Industrial and Office Park locations, highways and waterways work, Schools and Health centres together with our base close to the M62 and M1 motorways we are ideally suited to working on contracts throughout the Yorkshire and Greater Manchester areas.

Our range of clients include national housebuilders such as Persimmon Homes and Charles Church, property management companies including CBRE and Sanderson Weatherall, Civil Engineering companies including Sir Robert McAlpine Ltd and other organisations including British Waterways (now The Canal and River Trust), Kirklees Council and North Yorkshire County Council.

More Information... We also carry out sub-contract works for national landscaping companies for whom we have worked on a number of schemes including new forestry plantations and ongoing grounds and winter maintenance works.

TR Landscape Contracting have Employers Liability Insurance of £10million cover and Public & Products Liability Cover of £5million. We are accredited under the CHAs and Constructionline schemes, and are a Registered Waste Carrier. We can provide thoroughly realistic, artificial grass for gardens, schools and playgrounds, as well as commercial and other domestic applications. Since 2004 TR Landscape Contracting have worked on a number of Commercial Landscaping schemes. Have worked on a number of Domestic Landscaping schemes ranging in value from a small area of turfing costing £100.00 up to a recent garden scheme that cost over £25,000.

Using our qualified staff TR Landscape Contracting carry out weed control work throughout the north of the country. When temperatures drop below freezing public roads are gritted so that your customers and staff can reach your premises. Once they turn off the public road are your premises safe. The HSE 1992 Act states that in abnormal weather conditions arrangements should be made to reduce risk from snow and ice. Meeting these conditions can involve gritting and snow clearing.

TR Landscape Contracting carry out the following Grounds maintenance works throughout the Yorkshire area. We currently undertake work for Schools, Health Centres, office parks as well as maintaining Showhouse areas and Public Open Space areas for national housebuilders. Whether you have one site that needs to be regularly maintained or a number of locations in several towns or cities throughout the region we have experience of looking after your individual requirements. We also maintain planned development sites for property management companies throughout the north of England. These sites are normally becoming overgrown due to neglect whilst awaiting planning or sale. On these sites we carry out vegetation clearance work followed by a programme of ongoing spraying and cutting maintenance to keep the sites clear prior to development work commencing.
